Stories Among Us

Among Us

We all need a place where we feel safe to open up and tell our story. Stories are what distinguish the human species and what connects us. Therefore, the Among Us project aims to build bridges between different communities in Belgrade, as well as to give space to those whose voices are rarely heard in public.

Among Us is a series of storytelling events in physical space that support people living in Belgrade to tell their story and connect with the general population. As a side activity, the project is dedicated to developing of the culture of storytelling, freedom of expression, as well as inclusiveness and tolerance. Fighting for the right for everyone to be seen, the project contributes to a fairer and more open society in Belgrade.

The project was developed during a four-month study stay in Portland (Oregon, USA) as part of the international Community Solutions Program implemented by IREX.
